Flash Games

I thought there was a thread on this, but I couldn't find it.

I want to launch flash games on HS. I seen it in videos on youtube.

What is the best program to launch the flash games, preferably with fullscreen/stretch capabilities, that will launch the flash games. Not internet based, but the actual flash file?

I just wanted to put this out there, had couple people ask me how to actually do this.

1 - Getting software to run the games

Get "Adobe Flash Player Projector" no need to get it with debugger. It is free. This (functions just like your emulator)

ctrl-f = fullscreen

*NOTE: I tried "Dark Visions" flash game in full screen, it stretches perfectly. When I tried "Super Mario Crossover" the screen went full screen, but the game won't.

Some games just won't stretch. At least not with current player. Unless there is a solution someone else know. Please share ;)

2 - Getting the games

I only know how to do this with FireFox; right click anywhere where on the page your flash game is playing, click "view page info". Then media tab, look for the .swf file. highlight it and click the save button.

(Functions same as a ROM)

3 - Implementation into HyperSpin

Set up like any other emulator on HyperSpin.

Good luck! :D

Woofta, I haven't used this in a year.

I will mess with it and see.

Wonder if there is a modual for this... if so I bet DJVJ got it working good.

Ok tested several games.

I use the latest version of Flash Player Projector 11.3.300.268

It works with current available modual.

The modual loaded the game correctly, even had a great black background (HL) for the games you define to be non-fullscreen.

If you touch the black background (HL) around the the game, it will put HL into the foreground and you can no longer control the flash game even though it is still running, you can hear it.

Also, exiting a game, will not focus back to HS. You have to manually select the HS window again by Alt-tab or windows key. Only touching the black background (HL), then hitting esc key will HS focus when the game closes.

There a way to add a black .png, so when you run the game (non-fullscreen), it will have the background pic so accidently clicking outside game will not put HL into foreground?

I made that module a long time ago...not today. I was only saying I made one. I can take a look at the module, but not yet, I'm busy with some other stuff.

I know you are very busy DJ, but did you get a chance to look at this module yet? When I go fullscreen on the only game I have so far it just puts it into a little box in the left top of the screen. Not a rush just wondering.

I downloaded a flash game a while back but couldn't play it because it was protected. I also couldn't load it in Flash for the same reason. Anybody know how to convert an SWF to FLA? I've tried looking for a freeware program to no avail.
