Turranius Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 I can not quite understand how the Commodore 64 is supposed to be set up with roms. The default XML from HyperList Online seems to be 527 games only, based on TOSEC. The just finished database is 8076 games: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?28260-Database-Commodore-64 The tosec package from 2014-02-28 has a lot more then 8076 games, mostly dupes. Where can I find the xml with 8076 games in it? Once I have that, I can make a script to match the roms from the tosec package and only copy the ones included in the XML to HyperSpin\Roms\Commodore 64. Thanks! Turranius Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 Of course. Edit: I did a test with the existing xml... hope the new names are more precise, otherwise this will be a pain if you only want the 100% matching roms =) I hate TOSEC This is just from one game in the xml, trying to find a matching file. # ./xml_match_files.sh Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[a2].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[a3].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[a4].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[a5].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[a6].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[a].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr ABC].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr L&T][t +4 L&T][a2].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr L&T][t +4 L&T][a3].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr L&T][t +4 L&T][a4].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr L&T][t +4 L&T][a].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr L&T][t +4 L&T].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr REM+L+T][t +5 REM][Docs].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr REM][t +5 REM][a2][Docs][#074].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr REM][t +5 REM][a2][Docs].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr REM][t +5 REM][a3][Docs].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr REM][t +5 REM][a4][Docs].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr REM][t +5 REM][a][Docs][#074].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr REM][t +5 REM][a][Docs].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr REM][t +5 REM][Docs][#074].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr REM][t +5 REM][Docs].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr UDI][a].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[cr UDI].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[h Rasta44][a].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic)[h Rasta44].zip Matching Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic) with Action Biker (1985)(Mastertronic).zip Which one to choose.
