The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Does all of your emulators and ROMS need to be inside the Hyperspin Directory. I have installed my Hyperspin on drive "C", but all my emulators, and roms are located on my "H" Drive. If so I need to get a larger harddrive. If not is there a way to link them between drives? I have used the option to tell Hyperspin where to find my ROMS, and Emulators, but it does not seem to locating them.

No they dont. Your probably better installing hyperspin to the H drive anyway as media (videos/artwork) can run into a couple of hundred gigs after a while.

If your using RocketLauncher the paths will need changing in that also.

Hopefully someone thats done a drive letter change will pop in and give you somw more advice

Are you not using RocketLauncher? On Rlui you can easily setup rom's path from the GUI.

To me it is always better to use one hard disk for the system and another hard disk for HS/RL/emulators/roms, it is faster to rebuild the system if one of your hard drives is failing. Setup HS/RL/emulators on a HD letter and ALWAYS use that letter if you change the system so you'll never have to setup the thing again. You can also use 2 hd for hs/emulators/roms, just ALWAYS use that 2 letters while reinstalling or moving the thing on another system.
