Visitor Q Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 I am using Vista64 bit and it seems like any version of Mame after 0.196 I am getting this error, see attached photo. Is anyone else having this problem with Vista 64 and Mame? It is the only time I am getting this error. Thx

For the record I have the kernel32.dll file in my system folder, I guess I could try to overwrite it in safe mode with another version of it.
Visitor Q Posted March 26, 2019 Author Posted March 26, 2019 None of these solutions fixed the problem, I upgraded to Win 7 and that did. I can only assume at this point that any version of Mame after 0.196 IS NOT compatible with Vista.

Give it time and you will update to Windows 10 because some later games currently being emulated require Windows 10 only. You know best I suppose, even though you were using a system from the stone age to try to run Hyperspin
