tooniverse Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Is anyone able to get this game to work in HyperSpin? Every time I try to launch it I get an error message saying it can't find a .bin file in the HyperSpin cache. It's the 1995 game "D" for PlayStation 1, published by Acclaim, developed by WARP. Every other PlayStation ROM I've tried loads except that one.
Spawk Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 More information is generally a good idea. What emu are you using? What version? Assuming you are using RL, the absolute best thing to do is set your log to "Troubleshooting". Try running the game once. Then upload the log to pastebin.com and post the link here. HS cache??? not sure what you mean here? Anyway I just tried mine and it seems there is something wrong with the .cue file... although I can't tell what exactly. The emu itself won't load it so HS/RL will never load it! You have options for a fix though. A quick and dirty way would be to simply rename the first bin file to remove "(Track 1)" from the filename. Bin's 2 and 3 are only audio files (and yes you would lose this in game or menu, wherever it is). If you are insistent on saving that music, a much better way is to convert your image to CHD V5 (yes the same CHD from Mame). Not all emu's have support for this format though.
