Dumb question: Easiest way to create/edit a database xml?

I just got a Surface, and everything runs well. Only issue is I have a small hard drive,  and would rather have short lists of favored games, as opposed to the whole list. Is there an easy way to load my existing xml, and choose what games to list?

Possibly but it's quite simple.
