No, if you don't want bezels, turn them off before starting the game in HLHQ. This is not possible because many emus run in fixedresmode, so if you destroyed the bezel while in game, you would just have a black screen in a small game window.

it didnt sound possible to me

seemed like to many things going on to just turn it on or off

............but i thought i would ask

You could swap the bezel for a plain black one and just play in a small square.

I just put a blank transparent bezel that matches the entire screen resolution in the folder with them and switch to that.
