thenoob Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Alright what gives - SNES romset is zipped scanned directory in Retroarch games appear loaded every core in attempt to launch games everytime an error “file can not be loaded from playlist” what gives?
Spawk Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Since we are using HS and RL, it's probably best to just not use playlists/scanning or worry about the little icons or anything in the RA GUI itself. Just use RA as you would any other emulator. We already have a database (xml) that we use and RA is capable of loading any named file with any core through command line. Also, specific cores (like Beetle bsnes) may not accept .zip as a valid extension: taken from: https://docs.libretro.com/library/beetle_bsnes/ You can unzip 1 or 2 for testing purposes inside RA first, just use the "load content" and browse for the actual file. Then you can just enable 7zip in RLUI for this system and it will uncompress the rom for you before it sends the load command to RA.
