Is there any place I can download the HyperSpin 1.2 Update Pack? Apparently I need this for my build as instructed by the nfo file from the Hyperspin Project download.

HyperSpin 1.5.1 is what you seek. If you're running Windows 10, you'll need to put this dll in the HyperSpin folder as well.

what version would we need for windows 7.

I need to update a few themes and I cant get the theme editor to work in windows 10. the editor opens to a blank screen

I tried to run the latest version of HS on win 7 and got dll errors. So now I'm looking for an older version that works on windows 7

You just remove sxs.dll from the HyperSpin folder to run 1.5.1 on Windows 7.

I reinstalled a clean copy of windows and multiple versions of c++ and all I had to do is delete one file

                      I attempted to thank you for your quick response about 39 minutes after you replied, but apparently my reply was never posted; so again, my thanks. By chance, would you happen to know whether or not the 'Hyperspin Project' was ever completed? I am currently downloading all the torrent files for this project that I could find, and I'm beginning to believe that a torrent file for the emulators is missing. The following are the only torrents I've been able to locate:

From what I recall, the site it was originally on was taken down before they could complete it. They had nothing to do with us, and that was quite awhile ago, though. Once the files return here, you'll be able to get far more than was ever included in that project.

Not for nothing, but what would you say I should really be looking for and/or downloading for a 'complete' emulation system. I will be running it on a PC along with or through Windows 10/11. I am a paid member/owner of Launchbox and EmuMovies if that is relevant.

Speaking from personal experience... it's a deep, deep rabbit hole you're headed down. Hehe.

It certainly can be done - depending on how complete you're thinking - but no "all in one" package you find is going to be totally satisfying. Everyone has different wants and needs, and wherever you start, there will be a lot of work involved to tailor it to your liking.

That's not to discourage you at all. Just saying... prepare yourself. You're in this for the long haul. (And that's not a bad thing!)

Those files are about 7 odd years old now. Most of the Emulators have moved on, as well as the Rom files.

I do have a complete copy of these, somewhere on some old Hard drives. What i  remember, that after removing the Malware and Viruses, that were inbedded in the Torrent, it took Hours and Hours, to get working and was Quicker starting from scratch.
