Bug - Stuck Processing Roms

Question

HyperHQ has been stuck "Processing - Adding Roms..." for 5+ hours.  :)  (I just left it on this screen while I ran some errands today, got home and it was still sitting here)

Also, this "Processing" windows blocks access to clicking the ESC button behind it.
(I know I can just hit the ESC key)

Which roms are you doing? I had the same issue with Mame. I had to delete all media and then go into the media directory and cache and delete the the files there for the specific system.  "C:\ProgramData\HyperSpin\media\Systems"

It seems to be tied to the 'auto import roms' features.  I turned that off, and it stopped doing that.

I've already downloaded like 113 gb of media.  I would hate to have to start all over.   The cache folder is ~50% of that though, even after I cleared all the cache.   (I'm guessing bug?)

Oh yeah that too. There's a MAME bug. For instance, on install you can filter out game types you don't want. (Casino, adult etc). So my Mame right now shows 1899. If you refresh for missing roms, it'll add the 30K others you didn't want thus slowing the whole thing down. The autoupdate makes it happen automatically. I had to delete all Mame, media and cache to fix that and of course turn off the autoupdate.

Oh interesting.  That's a nasty bug.

I just blitz my entire hyperspin install.  I'm going to start over tomorrow.

Ahhh!! I will untick the auto import roms and see if that sorts this issue..I had this as well processing but not processing

If you have a ton of roms, for me best to do manually. except mame :P
