suspendedhatch Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 How do you adjust the analog joystick sensitivity in MAME? I'm trying to play Missile Command with an Xbox360 controller and the reticle is jumping all over the place. I went into mameuifx -> options -> default game options -> controllers -> joystick saturation and turned it way down but it had no effect. Also another weird problem crept back up. Maybe I caused it by trying to fix this issue. I'm using Xpadder and my B button is mapped to ESC for HyperLaunch. When I go into MAME, it's supposed to load the MAME xpadder profile which is all blank but for some reason it doesn't change profiles so when I hit B, it exits MAME. grrr This went away somehow before when I tried different things but now it's come back even though I haven't made any changes to the xpadder profile. I'm using mameuifx 1.53 with directx etc provided by what's-his-butt on this forum. Thanks!
gigapig Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Your using the directinput version of 153? Have you tried the other raw version or vice versa? Also, you set controls in mame by pressing tab, which I'm sure you know. For Missile Command choose analog controls and set sensitivity there. But maybe before that go into "Controls this Game" and set your controller.
suspendedhatch Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 There's nothing in the tab menu to adjust analog joystick sensitivity, unless I'm blind. Where do I find "analog controls"? Thank you sir.

suspendedhatch Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 Ah, the game specific settings have more stuff than if you hit tab before you load a game. You sir, are a peach.
