PiperCalls Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Wondering if there is a way to display the # of games in Hyperspin? Ideally when I, for instance, select say NeoGeo from the main menu and go into the NeoGeo wheel, either Hyperspin would display the total number of games on that wheel or even better display somethink like "Game X of Y." If not, is this coming in 2.0? Tried to do a forum search for this but the terms are just to generic. Thanks! PiperCalls
BadBoyBill Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Yes this is in 2.0 in the form of a variable in the new special artwork features. specialA13Text=Featuring %TotalGames% Games

Turdpeterson Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 ahh i didn't even realize 2.0 wasn't out
Bungles Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Not by default, but you can hack it in there via special art or theme artwork etc. It would still be manually controlled of course but it works. EG. The info for the console/games available is in Artwork Layer 2 and is just an image. There is another Universal theme that I think has embedded code into an SWF artwork layer that draws information from external documents/database files. But that's just plain Voodoo I tell ya. extracampine Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Interesting workaround. It seems that his feature has been a (very) long time in the making. Competitors such as LaunchBox already have it implemented. Is there any timescale on this?
Bungles Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I would say sometime between right now.. and the end of time. Not to say the developers are slow.. just trying to be thorough I guess. There is a work around for almost everything anyway, I think Hyperspin is still purrfect.
