The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

HyperSpin Joystick animation speed out of control!

For some reason the joystick flash animation run insanely fast on some wheels while they run at normal speed on thers.

As an example I recently created a wheel for "PC Games" and the animation looks as if it runs at twice the intended speed or more

This "wiggly" experience is stressing me out to be honest - does anyone of you know whats causing the swf to playback at different speeds, and more importantly, can it be controlled?

If you have multiple SWF files playing in a single webpage at once the speed of each can be affected on lower spec systems. This is something that web designers take into consideration and is the reason we keep the numbers over a page limited or combine things into one larger scene. If you have a very high resolution you may also have speed related issues. Try setting the res lower and see what happens. That animation is the same animation so really can't change that way so you have something else that is causing your lag.

Hi, and thank you for replying.

I wouldn't say my system is under powered, my HyperSpin machine is running a Core 2 Duo @ 3.0 GHz with 8 gigs of RAM.

My monitors native resolution is 1600x1200 and lowering it to i.e. 800x600 has no effect what so ever.

The thing that really puzzles me is that the joystick animation speed is nice and slow on some wheels, but on others its running in hyperspeed
