Renaming artwork

Hi just checking is there a app that can rename my artwork to match my roms lot of work renaming individually

Artwork 4 Wheel Thunder v1.002 (2000)(Midway)(NTSC)(US)[!]

Rom 4 Wheel Thunder (USA)

why would you wan't to do this?

if you rename your artwork 4 to match your rom name you will also have to

- make your own XML

-rename all your disc images

-rename your box images

-rename your videos

-rename your wheels

if you rename your artwork to match your roms, you will have to do 4 times the work and make your own XML.

The way I do it is by using Hyperspin Rom Manager 1.1c, and putting png in the search type (where it says 7zip, zip, rar). Use whatever XML you want.

Works pretty good but you still will have to go through and make sure it matched the images to the xml properly.

As long as you have one directory of files that is named correctly to the xml (whether it be roms,wheel,boxes whatever) you can use that directory as the reference point to match and automatically rename the others so that they are all uniform in name.
