Znes hyperlaunch hq issues

Hi guys

Before I begin, a massive thanks to everyone helping me out while I performed CPR on this old shinobi cab.

Here's a new issue. Mame is working good. Now I'm trying to run my emulators, first up Znes.

I've ran it in clrmamepro, everything good. Set it up in hyperspin wheel, everything good. Set up in hyperlaunch hq, bad.

I can launch the emulator by itself within HQ. I have correct rom paths and emu path setup. I go Games, audit my game list for Znes, all there and green. I launch the games at that point to make sure everything is good, znes launches with the rom (s) to a blank screen. I've tried a ton of the roms in the audit list and none of them launch, and the emulator itself doesn't show up... Just a blank screen, smh.

Everything is working as it should until the very end. Any ideas?

Actually

Now at the games tab

All games show up during the audit

But not the emulator is not launching. It does launch when launched in the emulators tab

Ok

I guess there was another instance of it running in the background.

It's now back to how it was. Launches fine under emulator tab, blank screen when launching it under games audit tab.

In hyperspin when running, it does the same thing. All the roms show up in the wheel, select a game, screen goes black and doesn't proceed to fully launch

I'll have to go back to ground zero.

I used the dat file from dat o matic, scanned fine.

Now, even tho I can see all the roms within znes, I can't load a rom at all.... Even outside of hyperspin, I wonder if clrmame messed it up

Its recommended that you back up your Roms before using CLRMamepro.

Make sure you get the games running in the emulator first, turn off bezels and fade and then post your logs and make sure they are set to the correct level.

I'm just... a snob, I guess. But everything is better than zsnes. So many excellent emulators. Snes9x for awesome composite imaging, Higan for accuracy, Retroarch with the bsnes (Accuracy or balanced) for much shaders. Mednafen, which is pretty much flawless after setup.

But yeah, sounds like an odd problem. Post your troubleshooting log.
