So close... Few issues

Ok guys

I'm almost setup and running and although it might be easy for you guys I've found it very hard... A few issues I'm having.

1. I have an xarcade controller. In hypeaunchHQ, after I finish setting up mame, I launch a game in the system audit screen and everything works great.

I then launch hyperspin, and I cannot launch mame to see my roms. I can launch all the other emulators to see the rom list but I cannot launch mame, and it's the only emulator setup.

2. With the xarcade, I'm told I have to have num lock on? When I turn it on, I cannot use it at all, when I turn it off, I can use it. Makes no sense to me??

3. I'm using mameuifx, have the xarcade config file selected in it's preferences. And it translates fine into the hyperspin setup. Again, everything is working until I actually launch hyperspin and I cannot access mame, I select it and it just bounced back. I can use it fine in the hypeaunchHQ when I choose a game.

Soooo close!! Faaaak me!

1. sounds like you have a filter enabled for that wheel in HyperHQ.

Where do you look to find that out

In HyperHQ (not HyperlaunchHQ) go to your mame wheel settings and check to see that "wheel art only" etc isn't enabled.

Make sure you have the newest HyperHQ.exe file (File Version: 1.3.0.0) and open it up.

Click on the Wheel Settings tab.

Then the dropdown and choose MAME.

Then click the Navigation/Themes tab.

Should be there in Wheel Filters:

For filtering MAME roms based on those criteria, I would use Rom Lister.
