thcdgaf Posted October 25, 2014 Author Posted October 25, 2014 I'm new to xpadder and trying to remap F2 key to start button on controller and keyboard remote is rii mini i25 it doesn't have the f2 key
Spawk Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I have never used xpadder myself. I use joy2key though and this is extremely easy to do. Double click on the start button (Button 8 on mine), then hit the F2 key, and hit ok. edit: oh wait, your keyboard doesn't have an F2 key? Wow... more info is needed. What Atari system are u emulating, and are you using MESS?
thcdgaf Posted October 26, 2014 Author Posted October 26, 2014 how do I make xpadder image for my control
Spawk Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Ok you managed to post twice and still not give any details. Like I said, I never used xpadder so I can't speak of which is easier... I assume they are both very capable programs. One thing I can say is that if you don't have an F2 key on your keyboard, then you can't map it. Period. You will need to find an emulator that uses a different key or can be configured to use a different key for start. That's why I asked which system/emulator you are using. So far, I have 5 Atari systems setup: 2600 --> MESS 5200 --> kat5200 7800 --> MESS Jaguar -> Virtual Jaguar Lynx ---> Handy None of these use the F2...
