ninja2bceen Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Hi Is openbore or taito type x worth setting up? I've read at least taito to be a pain to set up. Advance the cause to 100%. http://hyperbase.hyperspin-fe.com/ Planet Geekdom, Subscribe for Tutorials! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdcby-s2GwriaOHGmVC2vGA?sub_confirmation=1&app=desktop
Iggy Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 TTX is definitely worth it! If you can set that system up, you can set up anything......follow GigaPig's excellent guides for guidance....the worst game of the bunch is Raiden III or IV (cant remember which one is a pain). Havent played with OpenBOR yet but Im sure peeps will chime in shortly [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Sega Saturn Japanese Wheel Project: COMPLETE!! If you have FTP access, find my name and grab the set now!!!
ninja2bceen Posted November 27, 2014 Author Posted November 27, 2014 I'm reading openbor is self made games. I think I'll look into taito then I've read it's awful to set up but u say its worth it Thanks Advance the cause to 100%. http://hyperbase.hyperspin-fe.com/ Planet Geekdom, Subscribe for Tutorials! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdcby-s2GwriaOHGmVC2vGA?sub_confirmation=1&app=desktop
dougan78 Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Openbor is worth it. We made it so easy to setup it is hard not to. It is all on the ftp and the best setup avail on the net too... imho
JoeC3109 Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I second what dougan is saying. The setup the guys did is very easy to implement, and OpenBOR is essentially co-op beat-em-ups, with many good ones in there. Taito is also very cool to have, takes a little work but as stated above, Giga's guides will get you there.
Styphelus Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 If you have an anti-virus, turn it off and add every single TTX exe to the antivirus exception list or it will go crazy and start deleting and quarantining all your exe files.
