How to Configurate Demul on Hyperspin????

Hi Everyone!!

I bought Hyperspin packs, some of the emulators works fine (like MAME); but I try to run Dreamcast.... and it´s doesn´t work. I find de emulator (Demul), roms folder....

but I need some help, step by step to make it run.....

Can Anyone give me some help or advice???

Hi, GIGAPIG!

Someone who made hyperspin and sells by internet (page like ebay). As I did not have time to build it I must to buy it. When I try to run Dreamcast I can´t..... thats why I need some help!!!

The normal thing to do in this case is to speak to the person you bought Hyperspin from.

Further to the above, others peoples hard drives can not be supported. They are usually badly put together, and if you have not configured it yourself, how would you be able to describe the issues or fix them.

Please first go back to the sellers support forum or technical help department.

if you don't have time to build it, you are not going to have time to play it.

if you learn how to set up other systems, you will see that setting up Demul for dreamcast is very easy.

here is a step by step to setting this system

1. set up the emulator to run with your computer

2. you should be able to:

MANUALLY! open the emulator

MANUALLY! load a dreamcast image into the emulator

MANUALLY! run the emulator with the game and wait for the load screen to load.

after you verified that the emulator is working outside of Hypersipn.

3. set up a global emulator for your version of Demul ver 57 or 58

4. set your rom path

4a. decide if you are using demon tools or not; Set your system for one or the other.

5. select your global emulator as the default emulator

6. rename your roms to match the official XML OR create your own XML

7. Audit your roms with Hyperlaunch

8. if your roms are all in green, test launch 1 game to make sure emulator is fully configured.

9. if you get any errors, post your Hyperlaunch log and ask for help

10. no errors launch Hyperspin and see if it works.

I don't know who sold you the drive either, so I won't know the support forum for the seller.

If you have no technical knowledge then you should enjoy your purchase as it is, I'm sure it has many games on it.

If however you can come back and explain your problem, that's fine. Please supply what versions of Hyperspin and Hyperlaunch the drive contains. Please supply any relevant logs and post them according to the "Newbie guide to posting" on the main forum. Please search for your problem on the forum, someone may have had the same fault.

Also if the drive contains Hyperlaunch 2.5, this version is no longer supported, but there are many guides that ciuld help you.
