strawdog Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Hi, I'm working my way through Gigapigs guides (amazingly easy to follow, even for a n00bspinner like me!) i just hit a snag on the PC game set up, he says to use create new hyperlist.exe this is no longer in Don's hypertools download, do i need to use something else to create an XML or can someone put the exe on the FTP maybe? thanks guys -worked around it, grabbed xml header from hyperlist and manually added a couple of games
strawdog Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 Perhaps your version of HyperTools is old? yeah i guess it must be, i grabbed it from the site yesterday, its "Dons-HyperSpin-Tools-4.2.6" whats the latest ver and where can i get it please? thanks
gigapig Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Latest is 4.3.25, it is no longer in development. I did put a link in the PC Games video, but you may have missed it. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?25540-Don-s-HyperSpin-Tools-4-3-Beta-Significant-ROM-renamer-and-XML-generation-updates
strawdog Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 sorry i missed the link in the video, thanks for the link here. all up to date now cheers
eddiejames80 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 im looking for that too, from watching the same tutorial you saw.. he just created some blank .txt documents, then used dons create hyperlist, and it made an xml file i dont understand why the "latest" version cant do this. edit: guess i shouldve read this all first. LOL found it from gigapigs link. thanks for the link, and the tutorial on youtube
bmwells9 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 The link in the video and on your post are no longer working. Is there another link to version 4.3.25, or another work around if there isn't? I'm having an issue creating a games list for pc games.
bmwells9 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Found a fix - used HyperRom2XML 1.3 (in the downloads section). I put all of the PC game shortcuts in a folder, identified that as the rom folder, and then the program made the games list.
