Help for gradient

Hi guys i'll like to make a background gradient like this! How can i easily do this with photoshop?

you could do it 2 ways. select noise in the gradient choices. Or in the drop down box you can choose desolve if I remember correct?

Yep thats correct, i use it on the golden axe theme and on the altered beast theme, its a bit of playing though but its doable

There is another way as well that is similar, and very easy to control.

Select Filter/Filter Gallery, then click on brush strokes and select Spatter.

If you turn smoothness down and Spray Radius as high as you like you will get a similar effect. It blends pretty nicely.

Only problem is that it doesn't work well on high resolution stuff, but it works pretty good on 1024 x 768 at least.

I find that it might be a bit too grainy on the lowest smoothness setting, but try smoothness level 2 if you like it better.
