Hold to exit emulator not mapping

Hey guys, default exit emulator key is ESC but I want to remap it to DEL and END both held down simultaniously for a second or so. I can remap it to those keys just fine but when I exit HyperlaunchHQ and run Hyperspin and then a game, I am unable to use those keys to exit the emulator but ESC works. So I run HyperlaunchHQ again and DEL and END are indeed remapped so I have no idea why ESC still works to exit the emulator. I also noticed that as soon as I remap to both buttons and type in 1000 as the time, it dosent matter what check box I tick, Every time I click save, Single Click gets ticked and all other check boxes get unticked, number stays in the box though. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks -Mike

You need to select your options first before mapping the buttons and finally clicking save.

If you have done it correctly then it your new mapping should appear on the left hand side.

So click hold, then choose hold time 1000, go up the top and select map and hold both buttons for it to register, then save.

If this still doesnt work. Go to task manager and ensure xpadder is closed and try to map the buttons again.

I chose the options first and that seemed to work but it still only closes the emulator with ESC, not the buttons I choose. Also when mapping the keys I want to use, I use the keyboard and they show up as DEL and END, but if I use the Start and Select (which I have mapped to DEL and END respectivly) it shows up as Joy1&Joy2. Is that normal or should it be picking them up as DEL and END? Making sure xpadder is closed dosen't seem to make any difference either.

Thanks -Mike

Sorry Mike but where do you have start and select mapped to del and end? Is that in one of the emulators? Or in xpadder?

I would have it setup so that the joy1andjoy2 are used.

This way for example you don't have to rely on having del and end mapped for each system with xpadder.

For example with my setup...

I have nintendo not using xpadder and I use xpadder ms dos. The start and select keys will work to exit the emulator regardless of if buttons are mapped through xpadder or not.

I have two Xpadder profiles in HyperlaunchHQ, "HyperSpin" and "_Default". Both point to the same Xpadder setup and looks as follows: post-126730-142870679682_thumb.jpg

I then went into all the emulators and mapped the controller input options to those keys. The reason I done it this way is because those keys are the ones mapped to my control panel joystick and buttons, more or less. I would like to be able to use the control panel on my arcade machine and/or the controller.
