Brob78 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Hey guys, I'm having issues setting up Pinball FX2. Can someone point me to a thread covering the install or tell me how-to? I'm almost thinking I have a bad .exe for it or something. I've watched Giga's vid and understand it, but I'm missing the part on where to pull my files from. I have yet to setup any PC Games or Steam type systems, so I'm wondering is this similar? I.E. creating the XML and such. Thanks!
gigapig Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 If it's the Steam version you don't need to do anything at least with Steam or PC Games Pinball FX is separate and has it's own DB etc, must media can be found in 32Assassins folder. What is the problem exactly?
Brob78 Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 My man! First off let me say Thank You for all your how to's! This one kinda has me though. I've acquired a torrent of this and installed it in all the appropriate folders, but in RL3 (RL), in edit global modules I have no games showing (not sure if I add them manually). Outside of Hyperspin when I try to launch pinballfx2 exe I get a window saying it has stopped working. I try running the launcher exe, I get the pinball fx2 windows (window) with pbfx2 logo and the select language, I hit the save and launch button, same thing. This makes me think I have a bad exe. It's one of those days where it's probably something obvious but I'm overlooking it.

Thanks for the compliment Luckily I have the Steam version and a test "Torrent", all you need do with the non Steam version is add the path under Global. But if it's not working outside of HS then it must be a bad torrent or it doesn't like your PC
