beenq Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Hi guys, after a fair bit of time and effort im almost there with my hyperspin setup, I have xpadder setup so when I launch hyperspin I can control the menu (as long as xpadder is running first) the problem I have is when I launch a emulator (for example retroarch) xpadder closes so when I return to the hyperspin menu I cannot do anything unless I use a keyboard. Please please please can anybody help, im hoping this is simple but I haven't landed on the answer yet, thanks Andy
ChrisKant Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Is xpadder closed (Shut down itself?) Some Time i thought it too on my Setup, but all hyperlaunch and xpadder Done was loading a blank profil
beenq Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 Looks like its completely shutdown (no process running) nothing in the tray when I look for a icon, appreciate your reply as im just outta ideas at the moment
ChrisKant Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Maybe you can try the New HyperSpin Beta where the Joystick controls Directly without xpadder should work already fine. Do you use hyperlaunch? Which one?
beenq Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 will give it a go I use hyperlaunch but when installing I used a tutorial from here which involved copying contents from rockelauncher folder (I cant quite remember now) will download the beta and see what happens, is there anything I should know about the rocketlauncher install
ChrisKant Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I also use the Newest Version of RocketLauncher (soon called itself rocketlauncher)
beenq Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 Only for platinum members at the moment (which is totally understandable) guess I will have to wait, I have come so far and seem to have stumbled at the final hurdle lol
suspendedhatch Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Use StartupScript. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/2069-hyperspin-startup-script/
beenq Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 Arrrgggghhhh lol , everything works except when I exit out of an emulator, I cannot control hyperspin even with the start up script, im so close I can taste it lol
ChrisKant Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I will take a Look when i am back Home in friday
damageinc86 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Go download AntiMicro and make a navigation profile for your controllers, then go to preferences/options and have them auto-applied on startup. This will auto-apply the profile you have made for them, everytime the program starts (on windows startup). I have been using it for months and months, not a hiccup yet.
beenq Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 sounds promising thankyou for you help will have a look at let you know
potts43 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 sounds promising thankyou for you help will have a look at let you know Sent you a PM which may assist you
damageinc86 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 The only reason I stuck with AntiMicro was because the auto profile doesn't have to switch, it's always on. With xpadder's switching to active stuff, it kept messing up randomly. Too frustrating. Then again, I also use AntiMicro in conjunction with Pinnacle Game Profiler. So I don't ever need to autoswitch with my navigation profiles because Pinnacle handles my main xbox360 controllers profile, and every PC game that needs it. So AntiMicro is free to have auto profiles always on for every other controller plugged in.
firecraft Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 nono this is same problem with every one to fix this just change blank profile , map it as your hyperspin menu controller . because when you exit from emulator xpadder will load Blank profile ( dont ask me why but this what happened and its need fix) so the tips is :- Open hyperlaunchHQ > go to Global > Keymapper > choice blank > edit Blank profile to your hyperspin menu control that you like to used it after you exit from emulator back to hyperspin main menu its should work after you do that
beenq Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Guys I gotta say thankyou to all for the help given, great forum with some genuine willing to help others, damageinc86 i started off by downloading antimicro and within 5 mins had everything up and running perfectly (full control over hyperspin after exiting emulator) potts43 also PM me some useful information which I have messed with and also got the controller working via the autoscript (I had made a huge school boy error and don't know how I missed it) Thankyou again all I will definitely be hanging around Andy
