optical Posted May 30, 2015 Author Posted May 30, 2015 ok when i m trying to start game with HS and the black Screen is coming. when i m going to start then the Emulator manuel´the cd drive is set back to the real cd drive not more the deomon Tools drive.. so i think HS has a Problem with the virtual drive..
ninja2bceen Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 You need to set bios in the options section Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
gigapig Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Don't forget to set the drive number, you will have to try different numbers until you hit the right one. SFF doesn't need a bios to work but it can help with some games.
gigapig Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 You also may get help not posting in the 3rd party applications section. Lol, moved.
ninja2bceen Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I'm having the same issue too. just set this one up. Note that I notice that I set up the drive in the emulator to the scis drive, try to run the game, just loads to the black screen. Then I go back to the emulator and notice the drive isn't selected now. I tried to make the ini file read only and that sticks the drive selection but I don't think that matters as both outcomes start at the black screen. I have followed the giga tutorial fyi something I do notice at the black screen is if I do an alttab I find "autoplay" pop up by windows. I see that the autoplay is the drive I'm hoping for and the game I'm hoping for however windows doesn't know what to do with it. I have options to select stuff like windows media player etc but this pop up is not in focus. This likely has something to do with this. any suggestions? I have all iso's. converted all the bins to isos and mds to iso btw with magic iso I also tried using a games files mds mfg files and when I run that one, I immediately hear music but I still notice the autoplay out of focus wondering what to do with it. I have dt mapped. I'm confused
gigapig Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Which version of DT Lite are you using, you can set the drive letter it uses under 3rd party, but I didn't need to with version 4. For the autoplay pop up follow this. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/change-autoplay-settings#1TC=windows-7
ninja2bceen Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I'm away from my computer but it's daemon tools light from like two years ago. I have one dt drive and one scisc drive in dameon tool. I'll try changing the drive letter. No other emulator have I been confused, how do you run games in the emulator all by itself? I have it all set up and I would see the main vis page but couldn't figure out how to load a game. I see open and close disc, maybe is this part of the probably When I would use auto play it would just play a track from the iso (Tapatalk)

To test the game in the emu, load the cue sheet in DT into the SCSI drive and then press the Open/Close (O/C) keys to see if the game will start. Make sure you have the correct drive selected in the Options menu. If the game does not start then you may have troubles with the game or the cue sheet and naming. Post your log. Edit: It may be a good idea to remove/delete the DT drive from DT Lite.
SamVSsami Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Hi Giga, Do you have any step by step uide how to proparly set this up. Because I always have issues with this system (and that's why I dont play it to often). Sometimes it works sometimes its just a black screen. I changed all kinds of settings and back and it will work for a while, but I am never sure how I got it working. I know it supposed to be SCSI and does the drive letter have to be a particular letter? I havbe my G drive as SCSI and F drive as DT. Any input would be much appreciated ! EDIT: GIGA just watch your video and I think I know it went wrong!! Thanks for your helpfull video!!!!
