I seen a post a while ago about how to turn on the overlays in games like asteroids deluxe. Cannot seem to find it can someone help me out on how to turn these on.

I think I just have overlays turned on in both the AAE video settings menu and also the AAE Module settings and/or System settings in HyperlaunchHQ.

I don't think there was anything special I needed to do and it seems to be working fine.

You do not need to set it in AAE.  There are module settings for this.  I have noticed in the past, if you set it in AAE, sometimes it ignores the module settings.
