Just curious guys what this focus issue is exactly... EDIT: Re: FP Tables Here is the issue I am having. On XP when I hit the pause button the playfield stays visible and the pause and high scores would show. The same when I held the exit for the 3,2,1 countdown, the playfield would remain. I just installed Win7 64bit and when I hit pause the screen blacks out, I get the pause menu but no high scores any longer. Also while holding to exit the screen also goes black and stays black for a bit until it goes back to HyperPins wheel screen. Is this the focus issue?

...and one X-Pin January must be the Bermuda triangle month for DMD's, they're crapping out all over the place. @boogies2 and rotoforever I feel your pain, my X-Pin came with a dead pixel, some of the 8x8 blocks twisted, some right against each other while some were 1/16" apart, a real shame. I'm really starting to think the 16x16 PinLED is the way to go, less blocks to have issues with, less grid lines to deal with, lifetime warranty (US and Canada). But hey, The pinDMD.com logo looks awesome! I'll report back with any warranty updates, if I can get a hold of X-Pin 2013-01-22 Edit: Just got a reply from Brett, we're going to wait until the end of February for a new one from the new manufacturing process.

Sorry to hear that, these things happen. Scary that they would fry that easily though, there should be some sort of protection on them or something. @ wowter. I know the latest Sterns are using the block LED style such as the X-Pin. This could be the real deal as it's about the same cost but you never know, it could just be "compatible".

That's is strange then, the only things I have changed is the disabling the exit menu and setting up the pause via mouse for FP. Holding a flipper button and hitting exit has always kicked me out to the main HP screen but freezes it in the process, never have I got the exit menu, even before I disabled it. Oh well, I'll just tell the kids to not do that, I've learned but every now and then...

Holding a flipper button and hitting exit does a quick exit back to the main HP screen but for me this just freezes everything and I have to reboot. How do I disable this quick exit, it's driving me crazzzyyyy?

He also managed to get this bar done in record time and above all ship it immediately after Hurricane Sandy decided to tear through his area! As you will see from the pictures he even made a custom bar more custom by accepting my request to make it 4" instead of the standard 3". Again Jack, thank you! You will see from the photos that it was packed insanely good, so good in fact I couldn't get the bubble wrap back into the box without folding it up, and that was with the bar out. <- Oh I love opening boxes!!! <- Check out that pack job, can't see the bar yet. <- Oh there it is... shiny, I like shiny. So does the cat apparently. <- In all her glory. <- Beautiful corners, they look awesome. <- The underside, just as nice says the cat. <- When I picked it up I wasn't ready for the weight was totally shocked at how thick this is, a quarter strategically placed for comparison. <- It fit the cab PERFECT, and I mean perfect. So with this solution are you actually removing the functionality or just getting rid of the screen image?

Maybe everything is just re-caching itself. I find after a few run throughs with my old pc everything gets quicker and quicker. You can also adjust the quality of your HP wheel, this speeds things up. I am only using images rather than videos and I'm also not displaying backglasses in HP. This makes it possible to run the wheel in HQ for me and still have it perfectly responsive.

I agree, no need to cater to all scenarios. FP does work at 270, very nicely actually. I have a 100 FP tables running to prove it.

I have had HP at 90 and the menus were upside down for this version of FPL, that post is a couple pages back. That is why I went back to 270 as getting rid of the HP black screen issues was more important. Also the features of WIP 9 are awesome. I am so happy with this current version of FPLaunch.

I had the same black screen issues when launching in HP and they went away with this new version of FPLaunch. You don't "always" see a table peaking out. I once thought the screen was black in FP but the table was WAY off to the side and had to be scroll locked it back into view. My windows settings are stock, FP is in 270 as is HP.

Are the FP tables black or have they just moved off screen and need to be scaled back.

I had to reset everything to 270, that's the stock setting on everything it seems. Take the time to fix it now, before you have a couple hundred tables to deal with.

I only use the long press as well, why do you need to actually remove the menu?

Re: WIP9 When I envoke anything from the menu while in a game, it appears that whatever was envoked doesn't purge or shutdown correctly. For example, if I select a flyer during a game, with debugging on I get the "Flyer Closed" message which never goes away and I can tell that it is effecting the resources to some degree. Same goes for sizing a table in FP or Instructions etc. To get rid of the lingering process I need to again toggle the menu key again.

Please advise when next Lockdown Bar run is going to take place as I may like to get one. Thank you.

A quick question. My pin cab is going to be in a living room in a smaller house and I've built it with being able to play with headphones in mind if needed. If I hook up all the knockers and solenoids etc is there a way with the flip of a switch to go into silent mode? I guess turn LedWiz off?

I tried 1.295 wip 9 and ran into all kinds of issues like HyperPin freezing on startup, sometimes it starts the old interface even though I replaced the files as per the manual. Also when it did work the rotation was 90 degrees out only in the menus. Any help would be greatly appreciated as 1.0 is really old school.

Can anyone help with a link to 1.294? The link a few pages back just gives an FBI warning. Thanks edit: disregard, got the newest one working now.
