There is focus option in ini file - focus internal/external/both or none - so set none

So about your problem Oz - directb2s is a bit different - you can run it in controller mode or exe mode, whichever mode you run it - table script should start and close db2s. when you put table name that ends with b2s run is searching for exe with same name as table and you probably don't have it - you could probably put db2s to exe mode, set launch to false in script and run it and close it from fplaunch

If i remember correctly my policy is this (i haven't been on forums for half a year so i might be forgeting something): if i open b2s exe from fplaunch script i will close it, if table opens b2s exe from the table script - table script should close it - not the fplaunch. how do you control this: - if you want me to start and close b2s - give table and b2s exe same name that ends with b2s, and set launch b2s in table script to false - if you want table to launch b2s exe set table name that doesn't end with b2s and set launch to true in table script and put closing of b2s somewhere in the script - i think there were many examples on how to close exe on table close on forums

try screen shots with table opened outside of hyperpin for table not loading - i don't have any idea what could be the problem - works for me - maybe you should check settings - try to set savefptables to false

rotating screen is not supported (because all vp tables are in 270) black print screen is usually driver problem - check forums for drivers that work with your gpu (probably some old version)

you have to configure pinemhi paths in pinemhi.ini and screen numbers in setttings.ini fplaunch section

never gonna happen fplaunch knows last game and will start on last game (double click on fplaunch, play some game, then exit and double click fplaunch again), but hyperpin doesn't know it and can't start on it

there's no way to do multi exe with bam to do multi exe with bam - bam will have to know how to launch different exe and it doesn't - it always launches future pinball.exe - for example - bam could launch his own file name - from dir above so if you rename fploader.exe to future pinball.exe it launches future pinball.exe - but if you rename it to fp2.5.exe it launches fp2.5 which could have different physics also to run bam and no bam at the same hyperpin is not possible right now since bam is started from different folder you could put BAM\fploader.exe as another exe but then bam\fploader is used as executable throughout the script which is not good for same reason why fploader.exe is not good exe name if bam could be started from same folder it would be easier to run bam and no bam together but it would be impossible to have fploader with same name as future pinball exe - so again waitclose for executable would not work

you have to configure exit to e not escape - you have codes in manual still that doesn't explain why you get ctrl-esc when you press esc - maybe you have ctrl on ipac and it is pressed all the time? but if you change exit key to e that ctrl should not make problems any more - still it would be good to find why windows think ctrl is pressed

so you have problems with hp, not with fplaunch? what is your controller? what does it mean esc is mapped button? - you should not use any mapping software since hp, vp, fp and fplaunch can recognize joystick buttons directly this what you are getting looks like "control-escape" combo to me - so if you get it just by pressing escape - it looks like your control key is stuck or windows think it is pressed - try to press all control keys once to see if windows will register that control is not pressed any more for using esc in hyperpin and e in fplaunch - you should configure same key in both application, preferably e because esc makes problems - but you can use joy# buttons also directly in hp and fplaunch - check manual

nor nvidia nor ati - it's a laptop with plain sandy bridge GPU (actually no GPU - CPU IS GPU name is intel HD graphics - intel is not so intelligent after all - he doesn't even know how to name his cards properly so that people can know what they have) multi screen config for cab, but everything works better with one screen - no black and white screens flashing, faster load and exit from table ...

on some rigs it works on some it doesn't i also have win 7 and it works you can press printscreen button and check if you get image in clipboard

where are you looking for screenshots? they go to hyperpin media folder and you can see them as soon as you get out of table and go to next table in hyperpin and then back

FPlaunch wip 10 is uploaded to VPU: http://vpuniverse.com/forums/index.php/topic/315-fplaunch-1295-wip-10/ This is full version with all images, ahk files, exe files, wav files, even pinemhi 1.1 and sample of jukebox.bat are there. Extract this to your hyperpin folder - images should go to media folder automatically. Jaron there is a new version of fplaunch on VPU it is named "fplaunch no pinemhi3" - it has pinemhi, name just means it is third debug version (no pinemhi, no pinemhi2 and no pinemhi3) you should test it - it fixes exit menu bug in windows xp you will also need focus files from previous zip this will also be new wip 10 version - no new additions till next release - just wrapping it up

just copy files over from first post in thread "fplaunch with jukebox and new focus" on vpu you will need several other files - like pinemhi ini and exe from www.pinemhi.com

that was not the first version, that was one version before last version there were many versions before that in hiscores thread on vpu check this link http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?10935-FPLaunch-MOD-Pause-and-Loading-screens&p=225538&viewfull=1#post225538 there you will find few versions, test just the first one - "fplaunch with hiscores and support for different fp exe" and see if exit menu works ok

you mean solenoid sound - yup - that's a good idea about this exit menu focus problem - it can't be because of focus.ahk script because focus.ahk is called only on exit from the game, not on pause. also naming changes are just replace of the names - so it can't be that it could be something around pinemhi scores drawing - that's the only new thing about menus it would be great if you could try first version of wip 10 prereleases to see if it also has a bug - link is in my last reply to Jaron, I asked him same thing but he ran away funny thing is that it only happens on xp and only for few users, it never happened on my watch does anybody lese has this problem also?

in their proper location in hyperpin media folder on what tables do you get ball drain when you open exit menu - all tables, or just some of them? how come you didn't see it before - did you changed something lately?

One question - does vp gets focus and ball continues before or after menus are shown? So when you press exit key - game stops for a sec, and then what happens first - is it - ball continues and then menus come up - or menus come up and then few seconds later (how many exactly?) ball starts moving and goes down the drain? One video of what happens would be great - bent or jaron.

i've heard about this pause problem from Jaron - never had it on my rig so could not debug it check posts that are reply to Jaron - and do what I said to him to help debug this pause problem it looks to me like some major ahk_basic ahk_L incompatibility - or maybe something more trivial - we will see.
