dougan78 Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 How do you mean? I just set my keys I use in the emu for the joysticks. Not sure how an ipac config will help you.
shitoken Posted June 14, 2016 Author Posted June 14, 2016 I have been trying to set the joysticks to work in winuae. But so far without success. 1st Step Do I need to choose i-pac ulitmate in game ports> ( Mouse and Joystick Settings) or (Emulated Parallel port joystick adaptor)? 2nd Step Input> Configuration#1 > I-pac ulitmate ? Is this right way to do? Input sourceX Axis If i click on x axis but the remap button is disabled cannot select. I have been trying long time but i feel something I am doing wrong

gigapig Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 This may work for you I don't know as I don't use an ipac. So with the controller connected fire up WinUAE and load your Amiga or CD32 config. Click Game Ports in the left pane then look at Port 2. You will need to select you controller type from the drop down and under that next to Autofire (see arrow in the pic below) choose the Amiga Controller type. So if you are setting up for CD32 the choose the CD32 controller or for Amiga the Gamepad or analogue joystick. Save your config. You can then fine tune the controls with this guide if required. You can set up save and load here.
ashmck73 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I ended up downloading the c64 pack from the Preservation Society - which is all the games without any of the intros (do a google search for C64 Preservation Project). Unfortunately they are all in a NIB file format - but can be converted into either G64 or D64 format for use with WinVice or other C64 emulators. Now I don't need to worry about mapping multiple other keys to get passed those annoying intros anymore. The only keys I''ve needed so far to run any games is the number 1 (which I have mapped to Player 1 Start on my iPac) and the Space Bar (which I have mapped to both left and right flipper buttons pressed). ---------------------------------- Regards, Ashley, the curator @ www.raspberryretro.com ----------------------------------
gigapig Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 There are 2 great packs on PD by Turranius I think, which has Roms with and without the cracktros. Just search for Commodore 64.

Without removing exist mapped keys , failed to set new keys, How can I remove the existing?
gigapig Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 The Input Target I think relates to the Amiga control method so probably can be changed. Depending on what you want to do you would assign [Port2] Joy2 Vertical [Analogue] to a different input source. Which control method did you choose under Game Ports

gigapig Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I have choosed port 2 > i-pac ultimate No autofire > analogue joystick Which is fine if you want to use the Amiga's original "analogue joystick" as the control method. Your control method is the ipac, WinUAE will convert that into the Amiga analogue joystick.
