Metalzoic Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Snaps? Is that just the video that plays in a theme or something else?
Monyet Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I recall that the issue was turning off hardware acceleration in Adobe Flash, but that was if the videos were playing all garbled, is that the problem you are having or are you just seeing a black box? Is this within the main system wheel or a subwheel of a system? A screenshot would help.
Monyet Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 You need to provide us with as much details here as possible otherwise we can't help you. Just to test here, in windows explorer can you go to wherever you installed Hyperspin and look in Media\mame\video and play a video file, you may only have one called "default", does it work? Please also post your system specs.
Funkyphresh Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 What file extension are your videos, flv, mp4? Could be a problem with your flash player....make sure it's updated. And like Monyet, your computer specs would help too if you could post that. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk
doomteam1 Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 where do i get my computer specs from. i used both FLV and MP4
Funkyphresh Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 where do i get my computer specs from. i used both FLV and MP4 Right click on "Computer" either through task menu or file browser and go to the properties and a window will open with your computer specs and post that info, that works for Win 7 and 8. I know that when I use mp4 I can't see the videos but I can see flv's ..so that's why I was asking.
doomteam1 Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 also i was able to get videos to play now, but only the 1st video. as in when i enter the mame system, it will show the list of games, no mater what the 1st video is it will play the video, once i try switching the game it will not load the next. If i back out and go in again it will play the video
doomteam1 Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 Got it working, it was a checkbox in hyperhq to reload backgrounds
extracampine Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I am having a problem with the video snaps in Hyperspin. All of them are garbled - just shows moving blocky colours. I have tried the disable hardware acceleration fix but doesn't seem to work. What's the answer here? Thanks

Can't remember what the fix was or what you would search for to find the topic. Check this topic and follow the links. Looks like it could be caused by your video card or settings. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/4211-need-video-card-to-play-mp4-videos-in-hyperspin/?hl=%2Bvideo+%2Bcard Here's another that looks like it is about the same problem. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/861-hyperspin-intel-hd4000-no-videos/page-11
