The HyperSpin 2 beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Greetings from Hong Kong ;-)

Hi to everyone ;-)

Just joined this Forum.

I recently finished building one of my child's dream... to own an arcade cabinet at home.

Right now it's using the "Games Family" with "2019 in 1" option.

I upgraded the CPU from 2.4ghz to 2.8ghz and the Memory from 512mb to 2gb (which is the fastest the Motherboard can accept).

Still I would love to be able to play some of the more recent games, and trying to convert my existing Cabinet to a Hyperspin.

Here are some photos of my custom build I created based on some existing visuals of the Disc of Tron Cabinet.

Let me know if anyone wants the Vector Printing file, I would be happy to share them with anyone interested for free of course.

I also created another one based on the old "Jeutel" cabinet. So again if anyone is interested, Feel free to PM me and I will send you the files.

You can see the result here ;-)

And the JEUTEL custom stickers for reference

I am planning now to convert my existing machine to a HyperSpin one,

and will start to dig around and learn on how it works ;-)

I am confident on being able to prepare everything on a dedicated PC, but my concern is how I am going to connect it to my existing Joystick and Arcade Button, Coin, ...

If anyone has any advice, I would be very happy to hear from you.

Thanks to all of you in advance,

and if you need any help to create some kickass custom made graphics for your Cabinet, you can try to ask me ;-)
If I have time, I will do it with pleasure.

Cheers.

T.

Yeah - very nice looking cabinet - and you've done well fitting a 2 player control board on it as well.

Hyperspin can look daunting at first but once you start playing around with it it starts making sense. You can find answers to pretty much any question here on this forum if you don a search.

If you've got a problem just look around because more than likely several others have had the exact same problems and have talked about them.

Welcome to Hyperspin buddy.

I thought I am the only one from Hong Kong. Well now I have a neighbor.

From where did you get that nice sexy cab build ?

I don't trust the quality of carpenters in Hong Kong so I do not know whether I should order from overseas.

Greetings.

Thanks for showing us your Cab. It is well designed and the 2 Player Controls are awesome. Looks so good and makes me hungry for serving some Tron-Discs in the Screen-Arena. I would like to Play on/at this Cab.
