mccorkled
I know right... I use a 360 controller or I would be all over those! Hoping someone will do up a nice set. Sent from my SGH-I467M using Tapatalk Me. Me. I do web design for a living. They will be legit. Don't fret the green background. i like those bezels. The handheld ones are cool. I wouldn't want that for all my systems that can run fullscreen without stretching.
damageinc86
yeah the handheld for sure. I think if i was running on maybe like a 32-42 inch t.v. then console systems would still be huge even if windowed. Like SNES and Genesis, PS1 and Gamecube. But i'd go full with Wii or something like that. I wouldn't really mind having bezels for the consoles on a bigger monitor. Right now I just have a small dell 4:3, so there's no real room for bezels. but i'm sure i'd want one for most every system once i finally go big. I run a 65" led tv and playing with no bezels is GREAT
damageinc86
yeah i'm curious though for 4:3 systems, do you just have your tv set to 4:3 itself since you don't run bezels for them?

SNES, NES, 3DO, and sega systems all look completely fine stretched.
damageinc86
oh so you just let the emulator stretch playback of the games onto the widescreen t.v.? It's not that bad huh?

Considering those systems were never designed to be played on such a large tv, stretching them a few more pixels makes no difference. Especially when you sit back. Here are a few I made today. Metalzoic
You're using an Xbox 1 controller with your setup?
damageinc86
I tried the xbox one controller, and actually went back to the 360 because a lot of my PC games (even with the major nelson driver) did not notice the xbox one as the first controller like they do with the 360 controllers automatically. So I couldn't play them.
mccorkled
You're using an Xbox 1 controller with your setup? Yes. The controller configs I am making will be 4K resolution I tried the xbox one controller, and actually went back to the 360 because a lot of my PC games (even with the major nelson driver) did not notice the xbox one as the first controller like they do with the 360 controllers automatically. So I couldn't play them. Interesting if you are using Windows... Mine work fine. Not may older PC games has controllers. I played Doom 3 the other day and chose the controller option and everything was already set and that game is old as dirt.
damageinc86
yeah well maybe it's just if you use 360 controllers too. Because the xbox one controller would never be #1, only the xbox360 controller would be. So that would always go to the 1st slot even if the xbox one controller was plugged in, so it became a pain to use the xbox one controller as #1 for most things and then come up on some pc games like pac-man CE, or Team Fortress 2, and have to switch. mccorkled
I have not been able to log into the FTP since I joined here. It would be nice to finally have access and download the other fades to test/mod....
SkyHighGam3r
I know this thread is a little old, but I'm wondering if you had posted/shared the buttons you used for this anywhere online?I think this is a great idea, and while I do use an X1 controller for 3D games, I have a Sega Saturn one setup for 2D and I'd love to apply these same principles. Problem is I can't find any resource of controller/button art like you have here.

Since there have been some really nice skins that have come out revently, I have abandoned this project in place for something a little more classy and less cartoonish. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/13696-xbox-one-controller-fades/ Sorry for the late responce. Love the look of the new stuff, very crisp. I've actually done something similar since then to what was in this thread, but nowhere near as good as the ones you showed off here lol. You can check it out in the link in my signature if you are interested in my take on something similar. I kind of leaned toward the more cartoon-ish look myself, but applied it to the themes directly instead. Either way, happy HyperSpinning!

Is there a benefit to doing it that way? Clicking on My Content pulls up the list of every single topic you've ever posted in that has new posts... seems easier to me. Your signature got me interested. I used flash to make the images. You follow threads instead of just clicking on the My Content button when you log in? Is there a benefit to doing it that way? Clicking on My Content pulls up the list of every single topic you've ever posted in that has new posts... seems easier to me. I don't want to see every single new post in every thread I've posted. Following a topic gives me updates instantly to my email as well as my phone (Tapatalk) which is nice when I am waiting for a reply to something very specific. The worst part is when I wait all night for a response, wake up to notifications that someone posted in the thread, and it's just someone telling me to post in a different thread without any help about the topic.
