gunit Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Currently using 4g to write this message. My internet is working fine but for the last few days I cannot get onto hyperspin or emu movies. The error I have been getting is "connection timed out". My provider is Virgin media. Think it could be a DNS problem and have put a message on their forum and tried the Google DNS method but have had no joy. Can anyone please help ?

It I'd possible that the IP is banned, but I am sure the forum would inform you with a splash page. It could be a DNS problem more than likely. Try to refresh it in CMD window mate. gunit Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 Now thinking about it, I was trying to connect to FileZilla on Thursday night without any success so re put in the hyperspin host etc etc but with no success, now I can't even get onto the website in a browser!!! Wtf

gunit Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 Ok done, results were "requested time out" on hops 4,5,6,7,8. Then 11 then 16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30. Not sure what to do now ?

My IP is different because of this, so I would suggest Hyperspin Admin/Tech have blocked that IP for some reason ? could you get back to me with any information to fixing this issue as I dont want to use my router as modem for long.Thanks

What happened to empathy in this world? I would be upset if my connection just stopped working for no reason, just as anyone would be. If I paid for plat membership and my IP was banned and I couldn't use the services I would be even more upset and really want answers. I am sure someone will hide behind the idea that they didn't pay for a service but gave a donation, but really it is the exact same thing.
