Pinball FX 2

So I set this thing up and it's running fine except I have 3 games (Marvel Civil War, Marvel Iron man and SW Clone Wars) that despite having the right x and y values on the Pnball FX2.ini file, they open different tables. Civila War and Clone wars both ope The Empire Strikes Back while Iron man opens Ms. Splosion Man.

Any ideas of what could be causing this problem?

Seems like the ink is no longer needed but even lunching the table directly start up the wrong table. However launching it from within the game works fine.

Are you guys able to launch without having to press "Enter" on the FX2 welcome screen and also enter on the highlighted game? I'm trying to automate this and when I launch a game, it is the highlighted game (once I press enter on the FX2 welcome screen) but I still need to press enter a couple of times. My FX2 is release 1.0.33. Also, I notice that the table names in my newest FX2 version are different (i.e. MARVEL_Thor vs Marvel - Thor) than my past version. I'm using the regular FX2 (not steam version) and module 2.1.0. in RL.

Please answer these if you can:

1) how do you bypass the welcome screen?

2) what are the most current table/database names (the DB from the RL forum is a different naming convention than HS)?

3) what version of FX2 are you using?

Thanks for your help.

You need the new version of PINBALL FX 2, I am using version 1.0.13.0 which can use command line command, works fine. The old one didn't, that's why you need X and Y in the PINBALL FX2.ini file.

make sure you database.xml has the correct names from the data_Stream folder that match.

please use the latest module.  I'm using Version 2.1.0

if you Following GIGAPIG's very good video on youtube , this is for the older version of FX2, and not for the new module or new version of PINBALL FX2

hope that's help.

Thanks for the reply but you really didn't answer anything I asked. I'll willing to change versions of anything but only if I know others are have good results with them. I'm running the RL 2.1.0 module that you mention (and can be seen in the original post). I'm also running a newer version of FX2 1.0.33 than you mention (1.0.13.0) but would find it hard to believe that they removed the command line support of game launch.

Just to be clear, my setup works and I'm only trying to bypass the welcome screen of FX2 and the need to press enter on the already correctly selected game.

Thanks.

Thanks for mentioning my guide Jake, I did put a note at the beginning which informs the viewer of the changes. That only works for English speakers though.

So mine also goes straight to game as it should, perhaps it's the version that progets needs to update but he says he has the latest version. What about the need to register to use the cabinet support feature?

Thanks for the help. I thought Giga was joking about the registration at first but now I know he wasn't. In case anyone else cares, version 1.0.28 doesn't need to be registered to use the command line options but version 1.0.33 does need to be registered to use the command line options.
