Metalzoic Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Or making keyboard key presses send Xbox pad signals (without using VJoy)? Is there a good way to do this? I just bought Galak-Z after 1 1/2 years of anticipating it only to find out that it requires mouse or pad to play. Problem is it's going into a cab so neither of those are an option. I know Xpadder and Joy2Key convert pad inputs into keyboard signals, wondering what might work to do the opposite...
damageinc86 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I'm pretty sure i have my xpadder set up to move and click a mouse for one of my games.

Why would you need keyboard keys to emulate mouse? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
damageinc86 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Oh using a cab, so you want keyboard presses for the joysticks i assume? Yeah,...i'm using a gamepad with xpadder to do the mouse stuff. I don't know if it will go one step further and make the keyboard press into a mouse. that would be something useful to figure out.
Metalzoic Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 Top down shooter with pad control right... Why would you need keyboard keys to emulate mouse? Because the game only accepts either x/y mouse control, or left analog pad control to steer the ship. I'm thinking the only way to get the game to work on the cab is to install U360 joysticks (which are analog AND can emulate mouse input). A trackball would work, but it would suck to play this game with. I imagine that even if I could get my 8-way joysticks to emulate the mouse input that they would be way to imprecise to control the game anyway. Bummer. Been waiting 2 years for this game to come out only to find I can't even play it. I'll order new joysticks tomorrow...
