Klocky Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Hi everyone, I dabbled in photoshop in my days and threw together a quick Bezel for NES to be 4:3 on a 16:9 display that most of us have anyway. It's simple, yes. My attept was to recreate the simplicity of the NES itself. I use this for my personal cabinet. Let me know if anyone thinks this is a project worth continuing. In the future, I hope to be able to pull artwork from the Cart files to fill the left box, and Possibly a revamp of the right one too. I have other systems also, as I said, this is just a feeler to see if it's something people would like to have also.
jcm9800 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 when its possible to change the box in the left and the contoller in the right this will be a great addition i think [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

(Well, the games I play anyway) Does anyone on here know how to pull Carts from the artwork file into a bezel?

Styphelus Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I've started creating instruction cars for my systems but only with basic emulator functions. Having controller layouts for every game is crazy. Way too many games. It's easier to open up Hyperpause and look the the manual for the game.

That is why I was hoping there would be a way to utilize the cart art folder for the left(Game Square). Also, It is my understanding that MOST of the games use similar control mapping. Megaman is jump and shoot, as is Mario Racing games are gas/break. I'm thinking a master set of maybe 25 controls tops? Your thoughts?

Klocky Posted November 25, 2015 Author Posted November 25, 2015 Added MegaMen 1-3 to top Post. So what do you guys think. Should I keep the controller mapping in Nintendo Controller text (which is a little hard to read) OR clean it up and make it look newer?
