Autohotkey game profile, how to make it active

Spent weeks now trying to get taito x samurai showdown ed running with the controls i need mapped to my ipac4.

Ive set them in pcarcadelauncher but only player 1 takes the mappings.

Ive edited the exe and configured the bindings but again...only player one takes.

So I started over with a new set of default files and only set my resolution and left controls to default.

In rocketlauncher Ive set a autohotkey profile for the game but not sure how to activate it or set it to load with the game as when launched from RL the game still uses default controls.

Any ideas?

Anyone know if once an AHK profile has been made....if it launches with the game its set for, or if it has to be enabled somehow as a prelaunch program or something?

They work by default with default keys.

If I try to edit the keys then player 2 doesnt work.

It doesnt matter if I use arcadepclauncher,or exe editing... once I edit controls then player 2 does not work.

So now i want to try adding an ahk profile

SSED's keys can't be changed, not with any pad config or APCL, hopefully no one told you they could and that's why you've wasted weeks on it.

 

The only way to do it is by using Xpadder for gamepad users or for ipac you do an ahk remap in RLUI under key mapper. You select the game and then remap. The profile will be saved in RocketLauncher \setiings\profiles or RocketLauncher \profiles, can't remember exactly.

 

I originally thought you wanted to create a script to add to prelaunch but I don't think that would work or is necessary.

Ive changed the keys with both the arcade pcloader utility and by editing the exe file. The problem is player 2 looses all inputs with either method.

Ive made a profile in RL with ahk and remapped the keys to what I need them to be but when I load the game they are not remapped so wondered if I had to do another step to enable the ahk profile
