flyer6 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Hi. Next to my Xbox360 wired Joypad I'm trying to configure my Madcatz Street Fighter IV Fighstick. It works flawlessly within the emulator. But when I start Hyperspin, the wheels keep spinning and going berzerk. I can't even exit out of it. it just keep spinning and spinning. Is there a change to get the stick working in hyperspin? I haven't got a clue about vjoy, joy2key or something like that. Just don't let me use xpadder please. any help is greatly apprectiated. Tom
Metalzoic Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Hyperspin no likey using joysticks. I believe you need to fix them using Joy2Key or xpadder. There are 100 topics on this that probably have the details.
flyer6 Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 Already checked for the FightStick posts... I'll look into Joy2Key as I hate xpadder ;-) Though, I can probably use xpadder solely for Hyperspin and just make it ignore all the emulators, yes?

I've never needed to use Joy2Key or Xpadder for anything.
flyer6 Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 Okay. Thanks anyway. I think you might have given me the proper direction for a solution. I'll post it as soon as I've tried it so that others have the same keywords Fightstick and solution in one thread ;-)
damageinc86 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 If you need free, then antimicro can apply an autoprofile to navigate hyperspin, and if you don't mind paying a little, pinnacle game profiler can do the same thing. Works great for my setup.

Works great for my setup. I already bought pinnacle game profiler once. Totally forgot about that. so that's working flawlessly? Have to dig into it and see how to set it up
flyer6 Posted December 20, 2015 Author Posted December 20, 2015 Okay. I fixed it. Here's the solution. Pinnacle Game Profiler (xpadder or anything similar is fine, too). Switched off the Joypad support in HyperHQ, I created a profile in Pinnacle Game Profiler solely for Hyperspin. (it maps keyboard strokes to your joypad). Works with the SFIV Fightstick and the Xbox360 Pad. It recognizes each controller for itself and you can use the same profile for both controllers. Now it works perfectly. Thanks for the help. Hope this post helps others with the similar problem.
damageinc86 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I really don't understand why STILL, after the brand new forum where they deleted all of these old posts with the same exact problem and same solutions because they thought it was redundant, why they won't put a sticky somewhere with this problem and the solution. It's still to this day, one of the most frequently asked questions, yet no one will make a headline/sticky about this anywhere lol.
Rincewind Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Or could someone add it into the Tutorials page maybe.
