Punchout Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Hey guys, I've been up for hours and cannot seem to exit hyperspin frontend.. I have used HyperHQ and set exit as escape key. This is what I've done in short: Changed all the emulator execution to Normal instead of Hyperlaunch as the letter Q on my tankstick was disabled when set to Hyperlaunch - Letter Q was fierce punch in street fighter for example. - In doing so, it fixed the problem in game play and now I can use the letter Q on my tankstick I can exit every emulator in gameplay in HS by pressing ESCAPE button, but cannot seem to exit to the desktop.. its as if exiting HS has been disabled when I switched the execution to Normal?? I know I can change the letter Q to another letter and switch back the execution to Normal, but I rather not. Is there any way I can exit HS Frontend without pressing ctr/alt/del? Any help would be great guys! As I hated HS at first, but after spending more time on it, starting to really enjoy its features vs Maximus. Thanks!
Yeuxkes Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I wonder if you have the exit menu option turned off in HyperHQ. It's located in HyperHQ --> startup/exit. Make sure "Exit menu" is set to enabled and "Exit default" is set to yes if you want a menu popping up asking you to quit. Hope this helps to solve your problem.

Thanks for the quick response, but everything is checked as follows: Exit Menu - Enabled Exit Default - Yes Exit Hyperspin - Enabled Exit Action - Exit
Spawk Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I must say that you are missing out on some great stuff by skipping RocketLauncher. But whether you use hyperlaunch, RL or normal execution has nothing to do with actually shutting down HS. Thats only for executing emulators. The above options are the only ones. Perhaps they are not being saved properly even though they looked checked??? The configuration file is in: Hyperspin/settings/settings.cfg It can be opened in notepad if you want to verify they are changing correctly. Only other thing I can think of is possibly a focus issue but you wouldn't even be able to navigate the wheel if HS lost focus. Actually HS is a Windows program and also shuts down via alt-f4, just tried it Tell me if that works. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I had same issue many many moon ago... Seems hyperHQ bugged out on me. Sounds strange... But worked. I gone into enable exit in hyperhq set to true.. navigated to new tab in HQ. Played with some random settings. Navigated back to enable exit tab, set to false (no exit). Navigated again to new tab played with settings. Then back to exit area again and set to true (enable exit).... New tab again played with settings. Closed HyperHQ and boooom, it worked. Seems sometimes it can bug out and not register an option. As HyperHQ settings look right, it doesn't actually change it as it seems to be correct. May not be your issue but had me stumped for about a month Simply Austin's YouTube

Thanks again bud, I am just starting to understand HS, not to familiar with HL.. I know I should get that programmed as well. What is the main features of HL, sorry just not sure how to install it.. I followed the youtube video and was still missing some stuff. Anyways, I'll do some more research. Thanks again!
