Taskbar shows, HS focus lost after returning from PC executable

Hi guys,

 

I recently noticed that HyperSpin is losing focus after I return from a PC executable (in this case Fix it Felix). I'm not using RL, just the PC exe start as part of HyperSpin (as defined in HyperHQ).

 

I'd like to leave it as a main menu item, but if I can't solve this I'll have to go back to faking it into a subwheel. Any thoughts?

i get that with one or two emulators.... supposedly when you put it to RESTORE & CLICK it should fix it but I've done that and the problem is still there... then other times I notice if I use a bezel or not it could either create or fix the problem.

Not using RL for this one, so those aren't options...

 

Maybe I'll try going back to RL, but as a main wheel. Has anyone else had this?

Nope, It's just the default Fix it Felix Jr package you put together about a year ago... I had it under my MAME wheel (with a 0 byte ROM to fake it out), but moved it to my main menu.

 

Do you remember how we got PC Launcher to start it properly, through RL? I can't remember.

Moving it back to PCLauncher (out of RL) and forcing it to the main menu seems to have worked. I'll keep playing with it.

There is no need if you don't want to as the game is run from an exe, some people may want it as a main menu item. You would use RL if you wanted it on a PC Games wheel or add it to your Mame wheel.
