Yeuxkes Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Its awesome.... I been playing haunting grounds that had major improvments! I can play metal gear solid 2 great now! Shaddow of the colosus is getting there. Massive improvment over last release!! Alot o the color tearing is mostly fixed I'm not having any issues with SotC, it's been running pretty damn good for the last two years or so. Maybe they optimized the code a bit so it runs better on lower spec systems. Sadly you didn't link the official site so I don't know what they changed. You said it was massive about 3 times, so what did they actually change/improve?
Styphelus Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Also worth noting that 4DO has a new version out as well. http://www.fourdo.com/
Yeuxkes Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Thanks for the link Agent. The changes are indeed massive, biggest changes to me are the folder for memory cards, EE overclock, support for gzip, cso & compressed ISO images, SPU-X per channel volume adjustment. Other than that the changelog mentions numerous bug fixes and small enhancements. I'm wondering how the memory cards thing will play out with the RL module, it will probably break some things.
rastan Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Nothing it didn't have already if you were using the nightlies. for the DEV's sake... i'd like to think something has to be more stable even if I wouldn't notice it.... other than that... you're probably RIGHT!
rastan Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 finally updated and perhaps it's just in my head but it seems to run better than the previous version I had.
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 May help some people configure it. And yeah if you have not updated in a while its much faster. But for those who use the nightly builds not much changed. Fantastic emulator hehehe. I was speaking to a Dev there and he says its gone from 4.1ghz for full stable 100% emulation on compatible games to 3.6ghz in a few months (We was talking intensive games no frame loss at the time). Its still high, but its damn better! One of my fave systems for the games so as long as its playable... I love it! Simply Austin's YouTube
rastan Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 I only play one game with it.. GTA San Andreas and my settings seem to be perfect for it but will check your vid because you always have good info.
