Creezz67 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Hi, Is there some way to make Hyperspin use parent only/wheels only When I am setting it in HyperHQ it just seems to ignore it and show all clones of every game. Thanks in advance
reznnate Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 The way to do this is generate a new .xml dbase file that removes the clones. Hyperspin has no clone/parent rom filtering support.

thatman84 Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 You should check out the thread. mame clones worth playing: redux cant link it now on my phone. that has a recent mame xml with all decent games as parents. also a program to update. failing that use Dons Hyperspin Tools or HyperTools in the apps download section needs a PC setup but you can filter the games list by parents only and add it to an output xml. Would i be able to create the "classics" xmls with just parents? sorry for all the questions, this is new to me. I was hoping the parent only xmls already existing but i guess not
thatman84 Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 There prob are some about...but for ease of use moving forward you may want to grab the PC download. You can create these things personal to your setup. You dont need a full blown setup. Install the tools in your Hyperspin folder and set tour rompaths up.
