The HyperSpin 2 beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Anyone else like myself keep a secondary pc beside the gameing platform you game on, use it to follow faqs/walkthroughs.  my second pc is pretty much set up for that task and I think I have the biggest collection of walkthroughs outside of gamefaqs there for playstation walkthroughs there is and I have always have ign.com on standby for my pc games...lol

I don't do that but here are some suggestions:

- put them on your gaming PC and access then over the WiFi (or LAN) from your cell phone, tablet, laptop, etc.

- put them on your gaming PC and access them from RocketLauncher/Hyper Pause menu (no real time side-by-side in this setup)

- put them on your gaming PC and run a second monitor to view them on one monitor as your viewing the game you're playing on another monitor

- use one of many tools to give your Windows machine multiple desktops (very common in the Linux world) and run HyperSpin on one desktop and your walkthrough/guide on another desktop and toggle between them

- put them on you gaming PC and run RDP (Remote Desktop) to access a Windows desktop as a different user account (will steal desktop if you use the same user account) from your tablet, cell phone, laptop, etc.

- put them on your gaming PC and run a second virtual machine to view the walkthrough/guide via toggling, different monitors, RDP, etc.

To each their own but powering a second desktop PC to see a guide seems like a lot of space and power than could be saved. I don't use these but if you want to I think you have better options for ease of use, saving of space and saving of money.

thank you progets for the time using tips only if I had a monitor hook up on my card plug up  to cause im sure once you are using a "after market graphic card" you cant hook up to your pc's intergrated graphics to run a second monitor correct?

I load up on walkthroughs. These older games are tough enough I only get a couple hours here and there. I will give a game a few sessions before I bust out a walkthrough, I really need to be stuck. I mostly do hyperpause and look at my stuff there as I am just getting past one part.

The built-in video will work as a second monitor on most computers these days. Sometimes you need to make adjustments in the BIOS for it to work. Some older computers don't support using the built-in video for a second monitor but that's fairly rare these days. If you can't use the built-in video you could use the video card out of your other computer, buy a cheap video card or even get a USB video adapter.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you learned individuals for your sound advice and replys.  and speaking of adding a second monitor I did managed to track down a not so old none pcie slot able graphic card but my big old GeForce 750 is covering them uo so I don't have access to them darn it.  and speaking of that (since I like to waffle) I really never knew how important ram was when it came to gaming...here I went and brought that GeForce in preparation for up games I was drooling over and I don't have enough.  I have witcher 3 but with my 5.50 gb (mypc started out with 4 but I stole 1.50 gd from my vista) im still not doing so well, the stutters terribly playable only if you don't mind the pauses...lol   but again I thank you all your all aces to me and thankful to this old gamer hows its being done now and im grateful.
