XC-3730C Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Take a look at this video for Hyperspin on an Alienware Alpha @ 02:58: https://youtu.be/_yZKgqYg9LE I saw an Android icon on the wheel. Does this mean that somehow we can play Android games on a PC? If so, how?
progets Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 You can use an emulator like BlueStacks. Like all other systems, it's emulated.
XC-3730C Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 Is there a setup guide somewhere and available art and movies for Android games?
progets Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I couldn't answer that. I installed it once to check it out but didn't keep it or put it in my HS build. I personally didn't have interest in those games since 90% of my HS game playing is on a cabinet. I was just tinkering.
Cybersnuff Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 You can get one at Robustter Downloads. Under Games or Emuladores from January this year. Most other ones like the one on the video only start the emulator.
relic Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 is there even a database for this system if i were to do one i would add games from the best of listing of all the years covered there are gems in android i do have a android tablet and phone 100%
wesfranks Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Someone dabbled a couple of years ago, but really no word since. They were loading the games in BlueStacks and using the games icons for wheel art. One of the issues I found was all of the games versions that were available- some tied to a specific phone model and would not run on generic android. It was a mess. I just ended up tossing the set and just found the comparable games I wanted from Flash games sites. I was mainly looking for tower defense games and the like. Not really looking to do FPS and racing games with a phone style control scheme. There are better options. I did have Cake Mania - Celebrity Chef (1.0), Robot Unicorn Attack (1.02), and Sally's Salon Luxury Edition (1.2.8), the sequel to Sally's Spa (1.1.1). Epic!!!
XC-3730C Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 Too bad. There are several Android games that I play on the Nvidia Shield TV, but would like to play instead on an Alienware Alpha. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

wesfranks Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 So why not add that Bluestacks emulator and add the games you want to your cab? Yeah, XC don't let us shoot you down. Set it up and let us know if it got any better.
XC-3730C Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 I don't have my Alienware Alpha yet. My buddy who is sending it to me is overseas, and I have to wait until next month. I was wondering anyone was successful setting up Android games on a PC Hyperspin setup. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
wesfranks Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 On a PC HyperSpin setup. Successful yes, about two years ago. It had issues and wasn't a big enough draw to make me stick with it. I was curious if you would set it up and let us know if anything had changed.
chennemesis Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Try out KOPlayer if you are looking to play Android games on PC. Much swifter than BlueStacks, seriously. Currently no ads or commercial notification pop-ups(Dunno if there is going to be any in the future update).
