wesfranks Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Yeah, that's what I remember from my last visit to that site. Was on my phone so couldn't check link. I'm away for a few days but maybe someone can help with that file. Good luck.
shitoken Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Today one of the good friend have shared me with video intro files. screen load bar came out and system went shut down. Checked the log file with below error. How to get the Script file? Booting ROM ...Starting Singe version 1.14SINGE: Script Error!SINGE: error compiling script: cannot open singe/Singe/Framework.singe: No such file or directoryShutting down sound system...Shutting down video display...
wesfranks Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Note the double singe folder where the emulator is looking for the framework file "singe/Singe/Framework.singe: " At one point I moved my WOW files around as allowed by the module, but kept having issues until I returned to the default location. That included moving the framework.singe to the singe folder inside of the singe folder. Maybe that will help.

wesfranks Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 As the log says, the emulator is looking for your ActionMax files in two different file locations, initially in "H:/HyperSpin/Emulators/WoWActionMax/DS/singe/ActionMax/" and later "H:/HyperSpin/Emulators/WoW Action Max/WoW Action Max/Daphne Singe Win 32v1.14/singe/ActionMax/". With the exception of the bats and the "Framework.singe" (in the double singe folders), all of your ActionMax files need to be in one folder. This includes the m2v, ogg, framefiles, singe, fonts, pngs, and wav files. Since the length of the commandline is important, it will be best to use the shorter path. First, make sure all your files are in the "H:/HyperSpin/Emulators/WoWActionMax/DS/singe/ActionMax/" folder. This location also correlates with the working part of the emulator loading process so far. It is probable that all your files are already in this location, but if they are not, move them there. Next, I think you get the joy of editing your "Emulator.singe" file so that all subsequent files that are currently erroring out can be found in that one location. The easiest way is to open the "Emulator.singe" file in a text editor. Use your text editor's- Edit-->Replace function, to replace all references of the incorrect location of your files with the correct location. Carefully copy (no quotes) "/WoW Action Max/WoW Action Max/Daphne Singe Win 32v1.14/" and paste into the- Find What section, then copy "/WoWActionMax/DS/" and paste into the- Replace With section and click "Replace All" (button). It is best to use copy and paste for this to prevent any typing errors. Save your changes and test. Try this and reply if it works. Good luck.

Salute to you all , without you gurus my system would have been pending . It works like a charm now . Anyway to make the screen little more clear ?
wesfranks Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Anyway to make the screen little more clear ? Welcome to VHS quality. I use the "-opengl" switch in globalParams of the module. Try it and see if it helps. By the way, any added switches will add to your character limit so you may end up with issues but I think it will be OK. Glad you got it working. Now back it up before it goes to hell again. Always good to have backups.
shitoken Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Thank you will try that. You are right I need to back up but complete disk. Before I bought 2 TB never thought of spinning towards 4TB. Now I will have to buy 6TB new disk to back up 4tb & to leave some space for videos add some more new systems if any I find interest.
EvanW Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Hi All, Longtime lurker. Have been building a system for a bit now using Simply Austin's videos on Youtube. I had a previous pre-configured hd but it never really worked. This is a great read guys and many thanks to those who have helped. I have finished the Daphne tutorial in the previous thread and am ready to move onto this one but I am unable to find the Singe emulator anywhere. Would someone be able to point me in the right direction for it? Thanks, Evan
QuinnHQ Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I have finished the Daphne tutorial in the previous thread and am ready to move onto this one but I am unable to find the Singe emulator anywhere. Would someone be able to point me in the right direction for it? Thanks, This is my exact same question. I did find a file using the magic of google but it was preset to make it easier (unfortunately didn't work) and I would like to start fresh. Any help? UPDATE: I found a working link for both... not sure I am allowed to post them in here? I have everything working! Thanks Ron, very much, beer sent!
EvanW Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Found a good working version and finally have ActionMax all set up. Thanks for the guide Ron! For my ALG games on discs is there a seperate installer for each? I have the Singe Mad Dog Installer to convert as per the guide. It worked great but know when I put Mad Dog 2 in it rips it as Mad Dog and overwrites the previous maddog files. Thaks for any help. Evan
wesfranks Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Use the proper installer for each game. Not easy since last I checked the developer's site no longer links. Try this site: http://www.emu-france.com/emulateurs/6-arcades/309-laserdisc-video-games/ (bottom of page). CRC hash matched so should be the original file. Don't be mad if you accidentally choose the "Typing Edition".
rfancella Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016 Thank you all for such kind words. That is a great link, I will put it at the top of the post. In the past I have been sending my DropBox link to those that need it. Thanks, Ron Code Monkey and all around Command Line geek!If you like what someone has said or done for you, be sure and 'Thank' them. And if they changed your life, send them a Beer!
pacooka Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 rfancella, can you please send me a link to the ActionMax-Emulator.zip ? need the two folders in the archive, Thanks,

ZOLTAR Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Hey Ron, Any chance you help me to get this working even just on its own without Hyperspin.... I have been trying for days now. I have the Daphne SInge in a folder on my desktop I have Mad Dog Mccree DVD and have done the step where it creates the bat file But when I double click on the bat file it comes up as error.
wesfranks Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Does it load with the original batch file? And post your "daphne_log.txt.
ZOLTAR Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 No, here is the log. I created the bat file in image file, when I double click a black box shows up for a second the disappears..?
ZOLTAR Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Also as mine is the dvd I changed the last part of the script to dvd as opposed to cdrom. Would this make a difference.?
ZOLTAR Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Still just get a black box show on screen for less than a second then disappears and nothing.. tearing my hair out.. log:
wesfranks Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Please follow Post#200. Agent47 had you add the -script command line switch. Just cut and paste what he included into your batch file. It should show up in your "daphne_log.txt" if you had made the change. Also, if this fixes it and if your crosshairs are stuck to the edges of the screen, change "-fullscreen" to "fullscreen_window" in your batch file. But do the above first.
