Complete Guide for Commodore CD32 in HyperSpin and RL using WinUAE only

I am getting the CD32 logo and then a key with 2 locks green and red. Than how shall I do?

Hi,

The log looks good. Does the game launch from the emulator outside HyperSpin or HyperLaunchHQ?

Try extracting the rom.

Open the emulator.

Load your cd32host.uae file.

Click on CD & Hard drives on the left.

Down near the bottom, hit the "Select image file" button and load the cue file.

Hit the Start button.

Does the game play?

If it does not, post your winuaelog.txt

It might also be helpful to post a screen shot of the screen.

Haven´t tried this yet, but I´m about to soon.

There might be a typo in the second line after "OK, let´s get started"

I guess it should say WinUAE instead of WinVICE?

"Download the correct version of WinUAE from the link above. Extract the contents of the zip file into your emulators directory. For this example we will use the following directory structure:H:\HyperSpin\Emulators\WinVICE - The emulator directory."

thank you for your untirring efforts.

I have tried to load the game outside but the floppy disk screen came up the keyboard and mouse not responding.

If I launch in Hyperlaunch below is screen came up after click right of mouse button and if click left language screen came up.

Another issue just notice is from the hyperspin main screen when I press enter into the amiga 32 CD, it does not go into subfolder of games, therefore I am unable to select the games from Hyperspin. I did checked all the settings in HyperHQ are correct.

Hi,

The time would probably work out. I am usually available between 10:00am CST and 5:00pm CST (Central time US).

If I can figure it out in a couple minutes, there is no need for him to upload and then you to download an entire system. ;)

The Commodore Amiga CD32 uses a game pad for almost all games. So a joystick and hand full of buttons works just fine.

The CD32 does not work properly with me...

First he did not unpack the game for opens the game after...

I had to manually unpack the game, did it with game AKIRA and appeared this screen to me:

I Use the FS-UAE.AHK for CDTV and CD32

But why did this happen? Being that use the same module to: Commodore CDTV And open the games correctly including that are compressed it unzips and opens correctly!

I did some testing. Be sure and set 7z -> Enabled to true for this system.

Launch HyperLaunchHQ.

Click "Commodore Amiga CD32" on the left.

Click "Settings" on top.

Click "Main Settings" right below it.

Change 7z -> Enabled to true.

Now test.

I have downloaded your full folder and replaced mine. But in yours have many host files , which one I need to load?

I tried 2 of them but it goes to dark screen, nothing happen next if l run the game outside HQ.

I tried to run inside HQ below screen came up with game name this time on key, how to start the game?

Hi,

I did some testing. Be sure and set 7z -> Enabled to true for this system.

Launch HyperLaunchHQ.

Click "Commodore Amiga CD32" on the left.

Click "Settings" on top.

Click "Main Settings" right below it.

Change 7z -> Enabled to true.

Now test.

One last thing please. Post your HyperLaunch.log file with logging level set to Troubleshooting.

I don't think a log is needed. I will run through the module. I think there is an issue with it.

Like I said shouldn't that be True for CD32? or is it different for FS-UAE?

In FS-UAE, DT is not used. The cue can be loaded directly into the emulator.

Using the module posted in the post above.

Set your Logging Level to "Troubleshooting".

Launch the game again and post your new log. That log is not set to Troubleshooting. ;)
