Neo Geo cd through mess

Has anybody managed to get neo geo cd games to play through mess? I have a neocd folder and a subfolder - named the same - , put neo geo cd bios and a handful of games and when i try to launch any of them, it gets up to the point where the mame frame appears asking to press ok, then kicks back

 

Any ideas?

Are you using the software lists or do you call the games directly?

I think we'll need for an improved retroarch core OR I believe an Android version from mamedev is in the works as well.

Start by running the command from the command line so you can analyze where it's going wrong? I have no idea how you configured your launch commands of course.

You could try (neocdz) and (neocdzj) instead of (neocd). I tried getting it to work but gave up in the end, I had no way of testing the (.iso) files for it.

Tried neocdz as well. same result. Will try neocdzj to see what happens.
