Hi. I've some problem with "rating" (fade folder) images in Hyperspin. If i run a game in RocketLauncher are ok, but when i use Hyperspin, images are not. Thank's for your answer. Forgive my basic english, hope you will hunderstand me.

Are you saying that straight from RocketLauncher the rating graphics show up on the Fade screen. But if you launch from HyperSpin they don't show up on the RocketLauncher Fade screen?

Did you just start setting this up today or yesterday? Because RLauncher updated yesterday and there were issues with Fade screen code.

Yes, from Hyperspin they don't show up, but from RocketLauncher is all right. I do not know if it's my mistake, or is it a bug. Maybe someone more experienced than me can give me an answer. I'm a newbie with Hyperspin. I downloaded Hyperspin and Rocket Launcher last week.I've followed the Simple Austin tutorial on youtube for all settings.

Do you see the fade screen when launching from Hyperspin? I ask because maybe HyperSpin is not set to use Rocketlauncher for that system.

I'm not sure what could cause that. The fade screen is controlled entirely by RocketLauncher. Nothing should change launching through Hyperspin as HS doesn't affect Fade screens in any way I know.

So it should be the exact same fade screen that pops up either way.

Do the other Fade items show up fine? (genre, times played, title, background, year etc...)

yes, fade screen start in Hyperspin, less rating image. Maybe a problem with resolution? But are in fullscreen both. Is there some check settings to launch fade from Rocketlauncher path?

I know the ratings were moved to there own folder for a recent update, do you still have them in the Fade>Default folder? They should now be in :\RocketLauncher\Media\Rating\_Default

Edit

Just seen your screen shots. Do you have HyperSpin pointing at another version of RocketLauncher you have on your machine?

Edit

My Rocket Launcher version is 1.0.1.5 and Rocket LauncherUI 1.0.1.0

Bleasby posted this in the RL forum about this. Maby this will fix your issue.

Got to Settings>Fade - Info>Game Info Text>Appearance>Game Info Order> and set it to Description|SystemName|Year|Publisher|Genre|Rating |Developer

If that did not work and you keep Rocketlauncher up to date, did you move the ratings to the correct folder as I mentioned?

This is the genre folder in Rocket Launch. Is correct?

No not if you keep Rocketlauncher up to date. Look at post 11 for the correct path/folder.

all fade info is all gather from your hyperspin database files... if you system database file does not contain the additional information as such as rating, manufacturers, years and such it will not display... so please check your database if it has those parameters in the xml...

using custom database often have those additions info data stripped

out.

normally sticking with official is a good idea which often maintain those info in the database

even thought rocketlauncher has these description and data info... much is still pulled from the database.xml files of hyperspin to find it...

If it were missing from his database wouldn't the info also be missing when he launches straight through RL though.

RL pulls it from the same xml either way.
