kaz321123 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 qfb6Fie_70o ***This is a work in progress***Pac-Man Pack for Hyperspin (Revision #4) (1-23-2014) (95 MB): https://mega.co.nz/#!jxQkGA5B!JmxyiBql48wZqF6kvPfkhT5TH_UzfPWo0Zc3cgpumMADisclaimer (PLEASE READ): PLEASE be very careful around any .ini files. In this pack I provide TEXT ONLY for you to adjust your OWN global emulators.ini file. I also provide TEXT ONLY for you to adjust your OWN Mame Emulators.ini.I don't want to mess up anyone's settings for major components such as these! The only ini files you SHOULD use are the ini files I provided at Hyperspin\HyperLaunch\Settings\Pac-Man PackThe other ini files I did include are for examples ONLY! Refer to them and make the necessary adjustments to your own rom paths.Instructions:1. Add: Pac-Man Pack to HyperHQ (spell it exactly like that)2. In HyperHQ edit Pac-Man Pack:Rom Path: Hyperspin\Games\Pac-Man Pack\Pack-Man Pack Roms\Extensions: 7z,zip,a26,a52,a78,crt,d64,rom,nes,sfc,binIn Navigation/Themes set Wheel Filter to: Roms Only3. In HyperlaunchHQ, pull the descriptions window over the the left (if you like), and sort by Description. You should see Arcade at the top followed by the mame roms.4. Make sure each system's rom path also points to Games/Pac-Man Pack/Pac-Man Pack RomsExample: So Atari 2600 would point at Hyperspin/Games/Atari 2600, but also add a new entry and point it at: Hyperspin/Games/Pac-Man Pack/Pac-Man Pack Roms5. In HyperlaunchHQ you should see a rather large list of games in Alternate Emulators.I will be adding a TON more to this pack when I have the time (especially more images, movies, and wheel art). I just wanted to show people what I have got so far.If you like this pack-please let me know. If something doesn't work-please tell me also!-KazAnd just in case you are interested-I made one for Xbox classic also:Pac-Man Pack for Xbox Classic Vision (524 MB): https://mega.co.nz/#!X9p1HChJ!HF78BFEpPyxaBVClV3wRS28v5YRTuiVXeedr2VN Rvlw

kaz321123 Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 Question: I'm trying to convert some of my xbox xmv files to wmv. I have XMV2WMV Alpha.exe I have vlc player-and can see the convert options. But which one do I pick? The guide I looked at said to convert into 'wmv' but when I choose convert I don't see the right extension on my output video. I don't see a "PS" extension. If anyone could help me-it would make my job much easier for doing this pack. I have the xmv files for my other pac-man pack-but now they are 'trapped' in that format because I can't convert them back for use in this compilation. Can someone do a walkthrough for xmv2wmv? I found this program for one thing-wonder if I can get it working: http://www.emuxtras.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=179&t=2587&sid=ca1b93c5ae9fa06e08206257579aa18a I read this: "Good work. Yeah XMV2WMV Alpha is a dirty app so to speak. VLC doesnt properly convert/create the PS file and I know I made mistakes in how I manipulate the PS file into a WMV. Ive always been a trial and error kinda guy so any issues encountered are important to report so I can recreate them and track where it occurs. And to be honest my converters and such get very little love 99% of my time goes into my AutoBuilder/UBCD Pimped and Public Key softmod projects so they just dont get the time they desrve."
kaz321123 Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 Revision 3: Added some emulators in case people don't have them (like bluemsx). That way if they replace the ini-it will run some of them seemlessly. I didn't upload MESS because I'd have to tinker with the including only certain bioses (or the upload would be like 500 MB) Added some cute alternate error mp3's. If you wish to test them-just try to launch a 'non working' game like "Atari 2600 system" in HLHQ I continue to add images and videos.
kaz321123 Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 Revision 4: Added more system pics and marquees. Looking more filled in now
