crazyfiz Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I have been an Hyperspin user for a while now and with the support of this web site i have been able to answer any question, but now i am stumped. I have the latest version of hyperspin and rocket launcher and my game snaps will only load for the first selected title, if i change to another game no snaps including the one that had played will play. If I go back to the main menu those snaps work but upon entering a system only the first selected video plays ONCE. These did work for me previously and i have the same result on every machine i have tried this on as my setup in on a portable drive. Please help i am lost.
Metalzoic Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 No idea, but I thought I'd give you a bump. Is this with old FLV's or newer MP4's?
crazyfiz Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 Im using the old flvs that I acquired from pleasure dome. But as a test I removed the flvs and left the one .mp4 i have a double of, and it still only plays once then no more until i exit back to the main menu then back. I can have any snap load i want as long as its the first. so i believe its not in the videos.
Retro Goonie Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Don't know if it will help but a quick look at RocketLauncher and the only thing I can see to do with videos is: "Global" tab > "Pause" tab > scroll down to "Videos". "Enable Loop" set to "True" I know this is for the "Pause" menu but I can't see anything else!?! My Artwork! crazyfiz Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 I am running windows 10 and have exceptions for all related hyperspin exes or else I get excessive lag. I also have speakers on my main cab and have tried on laptops with internal speakers. I will check the enable loop when I am back @ a pc. Thanks for the help so far everyone. I also haven't heard of this b4 and only found 1 person on the Web with this issue but they were running Linux and never got it resolved to my knowledge
crazyfiz Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 I found enable loop on the global>pause>menu tab under video and yes it is set to true also under supported extensions there was no flv so I added it with no luck
crazyfiz Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 GPU is up to date plus this spans every machine I have tried regardless of video card. Laptops desktops Nvidia ATI internal or add on.
volumetric Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 There is a setting in HyperHQ wheel settings, think its called reload backgrounds. Try ticking the box and see what happens.
crazyfiz Posted June 2, 2016 Author Posted June 2, 2016 THANK YOU volumetric!!! In hyperHQ under the Wheel Settings> (Choose wheel) > navigation/themes tab there is a check box for reload backgrounds. and when checked the problem is resolved for that wheel. i guess i will have to change them all manually but at least the problem is resolved
